Question #1 :
What species of wood does ARI use ?
Answer :
Merbau/Kwila. It's been long known that Merbau/Kwila is a very durable and termite-resistant wood, therefore making it a highly valued material for flooring and other wooden products. At ARI, the choice of specialising in Merbau is credited to the characteristic of the timber itself i.e strong, weather resistance, stable, rich in texture, and suitable for indoor/outdoor furniture.

Question #2 :
What is the standard of wood legality at ARI ?
Answer :
Since 2011, ARI has received the SVLK certification, which was issued by Government of Indonesia. SVLK stands for Sistem Verifikasi Legalitas Kayu, which translates as Timber Legality Assurance System or INDO-TLAS. It is very much like forest/factory certification with auditors coming in to assess forests or factories against a legality standard and civil society monitoring. In 2013, SVLK is linked to the trade with European Union through a separate export licensing system called V-Legal (which will become FLEGT Timber License when the VPA agreement goes live)

What sort of products that ARI produces ?
Answer :

Question #4 :
Which forms of payment does ARI accept ?
Answer :
For our International Customer, we accept both T/T payment in advance and Letter Of Credit. When paying by T/T, original Bill of Lading will be sent out after all payments are complete.

How can I obtain samples ?
Answer :
Making the right decision before purchasing is very important. At ARI, we are happy to provide samples via the post for a small postage and packaging charge. We only charge what it costs us to package and post the samples to our customers. Please contact us to order samples.

Question #6 :
What is the minimum order ?
Answer :
For our International Customer, the minimum order is a 20' Ft Container containing one single type of product or combination of few types.

Question #7 :
When is the delivery time ?
Answer :
For most of our products, delivery time is within 6-8 weeks upon receiving confirmation of the sales contract. When we have our stocks ready, we can get your order delivered faster. Please note that the delivery time does not include the shipping time. The shipping time may vary depending on the destination and the freight forwarder.

Is it possible to have factory visit ?
Answer :
Yes, we welcome our customers to have a tour around our factory's facility and check our manufacturing quality standards. Please contact us prior to your arrival should you require any transportation to the factory.
